I want to see and show beauty. For me it means a decision to view and portray life from an angle that reminds me of all the good there is. The 15 years of photographing, five of which professionally, have made me fall in love with documenting human life with its little sparkles of joy and happiness.
Being from Finland, I've accumulated a style to tell visual stories in a very Scandinavian way: clear, simple and subtly emotional. I'm a very down-to-earth, empathic and hard-working person, which shows in my work.
I'm based in Helsinki, Finland, and I travel all around.

The way I see it, there is so much beauty in love. The unconditionality of it, the connection – simply the spark that comes from the unique way two people love each other. That is what romance is for me, and that is what I want to capture.

I’ve definitely developed a great skill to see the smallest details as well as the big picture since I picked up my first camera 15 years ago. Noticing the subtle details has always been in my nature, so widening the view is something I've loved learning. Putting all this together into a coherent story is something I find so much pleasure in.
